For parents & guardians

Parent Partnership

Parents and guardians are an important part of the Club100 journey. Rather than expecting parents to become career-guidance experts themselves, Club100 gives them enough information to understand their child's options and provide more informed support at home.

Three touchpoints

Parents are invited to three dedicated touchpoints across the three-month programme.

Parent Session 1 — How to Support Your Child's Future

Held at the beginning of the programme. Parents are introduced to:

  • the purpose of Club100
  • what learners will experience
  • how career and study pathways have changed
  • universities
  • TVET colleges
  • learnerships
  • alternative pathways
  • funding
  • and how parents can support without making decisions on behalf of their child

Parent Session 2 — Paying for Life After School

A practical session focused on:

  • NSFAS
  • bursaries
  • scholarships
  • application costs
  • residence
  • transport
  • textbooks
  • budgeting
  • common funding misconceptions
  • preparing financially for life after matric

Where possible, EduReach360 may invite relevant financial-aid or tertiary-access professionals to contribute to these sessions.

Parent Session 3 — The Grade 12 Game Plan

Towards the end of the programme, parents are introduced to their child's emerging Post-School Roadmap. The session helps families understand:

  • academic targets
  • application windows
  • funding deadlines
  • alternative options
  • Grade 12 priorities
  • and the practical support their child may need during the following year

Staying in touch

Parent Communication

Each cohort has a dedicated Club100 Parent WhatsApp community. The community is primarily used for admin-only announcements, including:

  • programme reminders
  • opportunities
  • important deadlines
  • session summaries
  • relevant resources
  • practical guidance

Parents also receive a monthly learner progress note giving them visibility into their child's participation and development during the programme.
